At Imperial Sciences, we aim to ensure that all research-use orders are processed and delivered promptly, securely, and in accordance with UK regulations. Please review our shipping terms carefully before placing an order.
1. Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding UK public holidays).
A dispatch confirmation email will be sent once your order has left our facility.
All orders are subject to verification to ensure compliance with our Research Use Only (RUO) policies.
2. Shipping Methods & Costs
We ship exclusively within Great Britain (England, Scotland, and Wales) using trusted, tracked courier services. Northern Ireland is excluded..
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and depend on the customer’s location and chosen service.

3. Delivery Estimates
All delivery times are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed.
Imperial Sciences is not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs inspections, or external events (e.g., severe weather, strikes).
4. Risk & Ownership
Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon delivery to the address provided at checkout.
Ownership of the goods transfers only when full payment is received.
5. Shipping Restrictions
To ensure compliance with UK regulations and the responsible distribution of Research Use Only (RUO) materials:
Orders are dispatched only to UK addresses considered appropriate for the receipt and storage of laboratory research materials.
Certain delivery locations or address types may be restricted where safe delivery, traceability, or regulatory compliance cannot be reasonably assured.
Orders may be subject to review or verification prior to dispatch.
We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel any order or shipment where we reasonably believe the order does not meet our internal compliance requirements or may conflict with applicable UK regulations or guidelines.
Delivery to a residential or commercial address does not constitute confirmation that the purchaser is authorised to use, store, or handle Research Use Only (RUO) materials for any purpose other than legitimate laboratory research.
6. Damaged or Missing Goods
If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery.
Please include photographs and full order details to allow us to investigate.
Claims received after this period may not be accepted.
7. No International Shipping
Imperial Sciences does not offer international shipping.
Export of RUO materials is restricted and only available under pre-approved research contracts and compliance verification.
